DASCH Community Living

Where every house feels like home

Living in a DASCH-supported home means having the comforts, safety, and support to thrive.

Youth and adults living in DASCH community homes enjoy the warm and cozy feel of a family-like home. Every resident has their own room to personalize and common areas to hang out with their roommates.

Our highly trained staff is on-site around the clock to ensure people have the support they need to flourish and achieve greater independence. Each home has its own vehicle, making it easy for residents to get to community resources, pursue their interests, and enjoy recreational activities.

Support networks play an important role in the lives of the people in our care. We collaborate closely with the families that entrust us to support their loved ones, ensuring that everyone at DASCH experiences the best environment possible.

A full life includes more than the essentials. Each DASCH-supported home has space for one to four people so every resident has a room to make their own and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with housemates and staff. The people we support can also pursue other programs we offer that interest them to learn life skills, make friends, prepare for a job, and more.

We are dedicated to supporting people through every phase of life, from youth to adulthood, and through the stages of aging and end-of-life planning. The opportunity to age in place at DASCH means people can enjoy the comforts of home for longer while we adapt care or modify spaces to accommodate their changing needs.

Living in a DASCH community home requires eligibility for the Province of Manitoba’s Community Living disABILITY services. Visit the Province of Manitoba website to learn if you or your loved one is eligible and how to apply.
